OneFamily offers many programs to mark this milestone event with an act of chesed that provides heartfelt connection to Israeli terror victims. In fact, OneFamily was conceived by Michal Belzberg, who canceled her Bat Mitzvah in Jerusalem in order to contribute the Bat Mitzvah’s expenses to victims of a deadly bombing attack that occurred on the day of her 12th birthday.
Creating a Bar/Bat Mitzvah project to benefit OneFamily’s members will help re-build those lives shattered by terror, enrich your own life, and establish you as a true friend of Israel. We invite you to celebrate this special time in your lives by including OneFamily
in your tzedakah plans.

On March 6, 2024, 20 women from Great Neck, Long Island sponsored an uplifting and heartwarming bat mitzvah party for 22 terror victims through OneFamily. While the girls are all newly bereaved and grieving, it is important to celebrate their milestone with lots of joy and love. Mission accomplished! “It really brought joy to all the bat mitzvah girls. And our ladies said it was one of the best experiences they ever had. It was worth coming to Israel even if that was the only thing they did on the trip. What an honor it was to partner with you on something so special. We hope we can join you for other nice events in the future.” Tony, from Great Neck
