Lifelong Care for Israel’s Victims of Terror and War
Lifelong Care for Israel’s Victims of Terror and War
Terror and war leave more than physical scars. The trauma of loss, violence, and upheaval can unravel entire families — emotionally, financially, and psychologically — often for years.
OneFamily exists to ensure they don’t face it alone.
We serve bereaved families, severely wounded civilians and soldiers, and children. Our support begins the moment tragedy strikes and continues — for months, years, even decades.
A Personalized Model of Care
OneFamily Coordinators: The Heart of What We Do
At the core of our work is the OneFamily Coordinator — a dedicated case manager who becomes the family’s constant companion and advocate. Coordinators walk with each family member through every stage of healing, providing:
- Emotional support and trauma navigation
- Connections to therapists, support groups, and medical care
- Guidance through legal processes and government bureaucracy
- A compassionate presence at critical moments — holidays, hospital visits, memorials, and life-cycle events
Each coordinator tailors a plan that includes the exact combination of financial, emotional, and legal care needed for that family and each of its members. It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, practical, and enduring.

Emotional and Psychological Support
Healing What Can’t Be Seen
Emotional trauma often runs deeper and lasts longer than physical injury. Our therapy programs provide survivors with tools to process, understand, and integrate their trauma — without shame or blame, and without fear of being alone.
We offer:
- Individual, couples, and family therapy
- Group therapy by loss type: widows/widowers, bereaved parents, bereaved siblings, orphans, wounded survivors
- Body and mind wellness therapies such as:
- Deep tissue massage therapy
- Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness
- Resilience training focused on stress management and personal strength
- Outdoor challenges and physical adventures that translate into confidence and accomplishment in other areas of life
- Creative and therapeutic outlets:
- Art therapy
- Hydrotherapy
- Psychodrama
- Creative writing therapy
- Sand therapy
- Phototherapy
Our approach is holistic: we help the entire person — not just their pain.
Post–October 7th Response
Emergency Expansion. Unprecedented Trauma.
The Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023, was the worst terror attack in Israel’s history. More than 1,200 were murdered. Thousands were wounded. Over 250 were taken hostage. Entire families were wiped out — or left with only one surviving member.
In the aftermath, requests for help tripled. Orphaned children are now being raised by grandparents and aunts and uncles. Widows are navigating trauma while raising their young children alone. Some survivors fear their perpetrators may one day return after the prisoners were released in the hostage swap.
We are scaling every aspect of our work to meet this need:
- More therapists, coordinators, and mentors
- Tripling camp capacity
- Expanding bereavement services and financial aid across the country
This is not just a response. It is a generational investment in healing, which will take decades.
